Busy week again last week as we are heading into the Christmas magic marathon and things are getting a bit manic
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I was at the ExCel center in Docklands, East London working for a PR company on their stand attracting visitors to and passing them over to the sales staff. It proved to be a successful venture and I will be working for them again at some upcoming trade shows in the next few months.
On Wednesday evening I was doing double duty as when I finished at the trade show I grabbed something to eat and scooted over to Bishopsgate, London to do some walkaround magic at Gibson Hall, which is a magnificent venue in London.
On Thursday I was also had two jobs on as I was working in Wood Green, London which was a real fun gig. Friday morning I had a well deserved lie in and did some admin bits. In the evening I met a friend Rob from Surrey who is an amatuer magician and we went out for a few drinks and returned to my house for magic sessioning. You know how I’m a Magic Circle magician I can go to the Magic Circle Dealers Day for free rather than pay a fiver which looks a lot like a magic themed car boot sale with even more odd balls than you would see at an average car boot sale. It was good to meet up with some friends who work all over the country and stock up on magic essentails. In the evening I made the short trip to Covent Garden for a last minute do for the launch of a new band.
I’m off to bed now as its 1.30am and I’ve got a bunch of stuff to do tomorrow before heading off to the The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year competition.
Oh before I go I just wanted to give a quick plug to a friend who does magnificent balloon models. Her brand new site is UK Balloon Modeller
night night
